Mc Mullen/Lower McAlpine Greenway [12] [Trail map] [Bird list]
A relatively new greenway area on the southwest part of the county, it has been very productive in the spring and fall for migrants. This past fall (2000) a Wilson's warbler was seen. Winter has a lot of sparrows. Resident breeders include red-tailed and Cooper's hawks, wood ducks, common yellowthroats and other typical freshwater marsh birds.
