| Travel on East W.T. Harris Blvd. to the 4th stoplight and turn left onto Rocky River Rd. |
| Turn left onto Rocky River Rd. |
| Follow Rocky River Rd. for approximately .5 mile, then turn right into Reedy Creek Park and Nature Preserve. This is immediately after after the firehouse. |
| Follow the main park road to a t-intersection, turn right and proceed to the Nature Center parking lot. |

| The
807-acre Reedy Creek Nature Preserve and Park, located in northeast Mecklenburg,
offers a broad spectrum of habitats. Stroll through pine forests
on winding trails or around the 7-acre lake. Probably the birdiest
area is around the Reedy Creek Nature Center. |
